Are you a mainstream shopper, looking for high-end brands or are you more interested in arts, crafts, and food markets ? In London you can experience it all. It is a true paradise for shopping. The city has over 40.000 shops and 26 street markets..

  • Oxford Street and Regent street: These are the main shopping streets and are go-tos for mainstream shopping. On Regent Street you can also find some high-end fashion.
  • Bond Street: Are you more of a luxury seeker then you must go to Bond street 
  • Covent Garden: Do you prefer shopping in small boutiques? Then Covent Garden is the place to be for you. 
  • Soho: Carnaby street in Soho offers fashionable shops. This area is also known for its trendy dining spots and nightlife.
  • Camden and Borough Market: Are you a big fan of markets then these two are must-visits. 
  • Westfield London (White City): This is the biggest shopping center, many shops and restaurants can be found here. 
  • Westfield Stratford City: Located in East London, also a huge mall, with a large variety of shops and restaurants. 
Restaurants in London

The culinary scene in London is very diverse. Whether you're looking for a quick meal or a luxurious dining experience, the city offers it all. There are over 18,000 restaurants of which 70 have a Michelin star! Most restaurants close around 11 PM, but spots in Soho and Shoreditch often stay open later.
If service isn’t included in the bill, a 10-15% tip is appreciated!

  • Traditional Food: For real traditional dishes you should go to Covent Garden or Soho.
  • High-end dining: Mayfair and Knightsbridge, are areas where you can find Michelin-starred restaurants. 
  • Mix of restaurants: head to Shoreditch or Camden. Here you can find a variety of restaurants offering all sorts of options from vegan to streetfood and everything in between. 
  • Food Markets: There are numerous markets throughout the city, such as Borough Market. A market known for its fresh produce and gourmet bites.

London has many different diverse neighborhoods, all have their own charm and attractions. Below you can find what each neighborhood has to offer.

  • Soho: If you want to be entertained you must visit Soho. In this neighborhood you will find; theaters, jazz bars, clubs, and restaurants..
  • Covent Garden: Well known for its boutique shops, and cultural venues like the Royal Opera House.
  • Shoreditch: Known for its vibrant street art and trendy cafes. 
  • Notting Hill: Here you will find picturesque streets, upscale boutiques, and the renowned Portobello Road Market.
  • South Bank: Looking for some English culture? Here you will find attractions like the London Eye, Tate Modern and the National Theatre.
  • Camden: This neighborhood is famous for its markets and live music venues.
  • Mayfair: This is more of an upscale area where you will find luxury shops and fine dining. 
  • Westminster: A must visit neighborhood with landmarks such as Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, and the Houses of Parliament.
  • Kensington and Chelsea: Just like Mayfair this is more of an upscale area with luxury boutiques and Musea.
